Take my Hand and Lead me On

"In the process, in the waiting,
You're making melody over me.
And your presence is a promise,
for I am a pilgrim on a Journey.
And you will lift my head above the mighty waves;
and you are able to keep me from stumbling;
and in my weakness,
You are the strength
that comes from within,
Good Shepherd of my soul.
Take my hand and lead me on."
-Bethel

Lately, I've been trying to understand what God wants me to do...

And it is so hard to hear God sometimes
over everyone else's voices telling me what to do
and telling me what success is.

But God has told me,
"It isn't about what you are supposed to do,
but what I am doing."

The best thing to do is just
love my Creator, and enjoy doing
what he put in me to do when he created me.

Ecclesiastes 3: 9-13 says this:

"What do workers gain from their toil?
I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race.
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set eternity in the human heart;
yet, no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy
and to do good while they live.
That each of them may eat and drink,
and find satisfaction in all their toil- this is the gift of God."

Let this be an encouragement
to find the Lord.
Walk with Him.
And do what he has put in your heart to do.
This is his gift and his will.

Anyhoo!
Next week is finals week,
the last week of school this semester!

I have very little left in my safe haven,
and I've been slowly working on moving out again,
little by little.

Unlike pretty much every other student in the dorms,
when I move in, I move in.
I bring as much of my things as I can
so it will feel like home.
It is worth it.

And here is one last picture I found of my room
in all its former glory--

I am SO happy that this year is almost over.
I get all summer to have a break.

I haven't had a break since I got out of high school.

Enjoy your summer,
all you lovely people!

Until next time,
Lots of Love,
