Oh Me, Oh My- No Time, No Time

Hello, Berries!!!
Long time, no post!
Life has been hectic as of late.
I feel like I have no time to blog or decorate
or take pictures or chill out...
First of all there's the music part.
Drum major responsibilities carry through to the last second of the school year.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy what I do, but it is quite demanding.
If it isn't football games, it's volleyball or basketball.
If it isn't finding music and making copies, it's running rehearsal.
If it isn't being in a meeting, it's getting ready for one.
WHEW!
Aside from the weight of being a drum major,
there's also the weight of being a music major;
theory homework,
sight singing and ear training,
recital papers,
performances,
practice hours...
another WHEW!
Second of all is core classes.
(Those are a cinch.)
Thirdly-- My family moved!
AAAHHH!
It's okay, this is a very good thing. (:
We live in the woods now, and...
mmm...
I just adore living in the woods.
I'm going to love taking pictures there!
Anyway--> to the pictures of my dorm room that I promised to you
what feels like ages ago. (;
I especially like the way I decorated my room this year because
I decorated with more personal things, like gifts and notes.
(I'm using past tense because my room is pretty much all packed up now.)
These scriptures came in a care package from my grandma's church. (:
I grew so fond of them that I decided to write out some more
and stick them all over my room...
^.^
There are these two large white shelves in my dorm room,
and I had so much fun decorating them,
I got two white shelves to put in my room at the new house!
I am wild with excitement about the new house!
>.<
The great part about these shelves is that they are magnetic,
so I accumulated a lot of darlin' little magnets to stick all over them.
What I'm going to do with them when I move,
I have no idea.
I have enjoyed my year long stay in my little safe haven.
I know that I will always treasure the memories
of waking up early and having my coffee
with the Father...
... and also the memories of coming back to my room
at the end of the hardest days just longing to be alone
in the presence again.
It is no overstatement to say that this year has been the hardest
of my life so far, but I would not trade it back.
I have grown a lot...
"If you say, 'The Lord is my refuge,'
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
'Because he loves me,' says the Lord,
'I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.'
It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name, O Most High,
proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
to the music of the ten- stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done."
Psalm 91:9 - 92:4
And what better way to end than a beautiful Psalm
and a good 'ole Disney movie.
(:

Until next time,
Lots of love,
